Dr. Sheshank Mahajan is a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Cancer Centers of America. He completed his M.B.B.S. from GSMCH, Banur, Rajpura in 2013, followed by an M.S. in General Surgery from GMC, Amritsar, in 2018. He further specialized in Surgical Oncology, earning his M.Ch. from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, the largest and leading tertiary cancer care center in India.

 

During his rigorous training at Tata Memorial Centre, Dr. Mahajan gained comprehensive experience in various Disease Management Groups, including Thoracic, Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary, Colorectal, Urology, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Head & Neck, and Breast Oncology. He actively participated in interdisciplinary Joint Clinics and performed a wide array of surgeries both under supervision and independently. His expertise was further honed through hands-on training programs in laparoscopic, robotic, and VATS techniques, as well as vascular reconstruction workshops.

 

Dr. Mahajan's professional journey includes his role as an Adhoc Assistant Professor in Surgical Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where he worked independently for one year. His areas of interest lie in thoracic and gastrointestinal oncology, although he possesses considerable experience in performing surgeries across various organ systems for both adult and pediatric patients.
